What's Up, Welland?

What did the baseball glove say to the ball? Catch ya later!

City of Welland Season 2 Episode 35

Playing baseball is a blast! A bunch of players, a bat, a ball, and some open space is all you need to get a game going.

If you’ve been out to see the Welland Jackfish, you know they take all those essential elements, add buckets of entertainment, and deliver a fun baseball treat. Not only do they put on an exciting show on the field – and they’ve got the winning streaks to prove it – they’ve also made some fantastic modifications to the stadium to enhance the spectator experience.

Ryan Harrison, president and director of fun, is back to talk about the community embracing the fans first, fun always motto, and the team in turn supporting the Welland community and beyond through charitable initiatives. Their commitment to being community partners shows this is more than just a baseball team. All in all, the Welland Jackfish are a great example of how sports can be both fun and meaningful.
